Hi, my name is Burkan Khalidy, in 1963 I was born in Amman, Jordan to a Jordanian father and a Turkish mother. I grew up in both countries and spoke Arabic, English, French and Turkish, all at the same time. I went to a private French school in Amman, hence the fourth language, then went to College in Florence Italy, adding a fifth language to my vocabulary. I had the pleasure of serving in the Royal Jordanian Army Special Forces and was on the Jordanian National Team for Martial Arts, Swimming and Water Polo. At a very young age I started studying martial arts and have a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo and Shotokan.
I came to the states in 1991 and started working in the car business for big dealerships, mostly in management. In 2000, I came to Florida and started working at the paper mill until it recently closed.
I am married to my beautiful wife, and we have 4 children that are all grown and gone. I enjoy music that feeds my soul, I play drums, I play golf, I ride motorcycles and I am a competitive shooter in different disciplines.
I am a "people person" and I really enjoy working with all kinds of people from all walks of life.
